Why Should I Get A Custom 1911?

First, there’s the pride of ownership. Does anyone NEED to drive a Lamborghini? No; a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody would suffice. But people want them all the same.

Second, You have the appreciation of the craft. Some people are willing to pay for quality because they appreciate it or want an item that they know they don’t have to worry about. Anyone can go buy a Glock and “pretty it up” for EDC as you wouldn’t call this a collectable, but a Colt, Springfield or better will last decades (possibly centuries) if cared for and not abused of-course . If you’re into Motorcycles, yes can get a Yamaha YZF R1 or better a Ducati Panigale V4 S. How about that Yamaha BMS Chopper for $3m!? For my Harley Buddies .. how about that Street Glide Custom Bagger… wow!

In short, Some people buy luxury goods because it’s a goal, a reward for diligent savings and investment or for reaching a milestone, an heirloom to pass down to loved ones, there are hundreds of reasons.

Basically, the reason to own one is that you really WANT one. Do you need that custom Commander 9mm 1911 to conceal and carry with? No, not really. It’s more something that a person desires because it’s the finer things in life, something you can take a lot of pride in owning.

This all being said, don’t shy yourself from owning your very own Custom 1911 even if you have never held one. If anything EVERYONE should own at least one in their arsenal and trust me, once you own one and see the value it holds, you’ll want to get more.. just like a Tattoo!
