SK Customs is proud to announce its newest series production – dubbed the “Conquerors Series.” The first product to be launched in the new series is Alexander the Great, a limited-edition production of only 200 Colt 1911s in Royal Blue chambered in .38 Super.

Alexander the Great was a member of an Ancient Dynasty, born to King Philip II of Macedonia. This royal lineage paved the way for Alexander’s military success. He was tutored at a young age by the legendary erudite Aristotle, who inspired his interests in philosophy, medicine and science.

Shortly after assuming his divine right of kingship, Alexander proceeded to battle. His victory in the Balkans led him to control the League of Corinth. After gaining his father’s approval, Alexander used his authority to launch the Pan-Hellenic project and took leadership over all Greeks in their conquest of Persia.

He began a series of campaigns, lasting 10 years and taking down one of the greatest empires. His mission turned toward Asia Minor, known today as Anatolia. Turkey then quickly broke the power of Achaemenid Persia during the Battle of Issus and Gaugamela, overthrowing King Darius III (the thirteenth and last King of Persia).

Alexander the Great created one of the largest Empires in history by waging an extensive conquest throughout Asia and Egypt. He founded more than twenty cities naming them after himself or his closest followers. He was also responsible for the Library of Alexandria, one of the largest and most significant libraries in history.
