SK Customs has just announced the release of yet another highly stylized Colt 1911 pistol, the MANA in stainless as part two of a two-part limited-edition production designer series. This time the pistol is inspired by Polynesian warriors and features highly stylized engraving along with the slide as well as the grips and will also come with a companion engraved high polish stainless steel knife.

SK Customs Releases the MANA Part Two Stainless Colt 1911
“We honored the Polynesian worldview of MANA, by launching the second part of this Warrior Life designer collection,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Customs. “To have MANA implies influence, authority and efficacy and an ability to perform in a given situation. A Colt 1911 embodies this spirit, even as an inanimate object.”
The new 1911 pistol from SK Customs will feature a Series 70 Colt Classic 1911 chambered in .38 Super, stainless steel frame, slide, and accents that have been polished to a near mirror shine. The MANA’s barrel will feature 24 karat gold plated high polish selective hardware with motifs inspired by Polynesian ethos. The slide will feature a diamond-studded factory front-staked sight and the super bright white ivory polymer engraved grip matches the slide decorations.
Like most of SK Custom’s limited-edition releases, the knife and pistol will be part of a run of 200 units. The Mana is just the latest in a growing series of Polynesian Warrior-inspired pistols as part of SK Custom’s Limited-Edition Designer series. The next pistol being featured in this series will be dubbed the HAKA which will also be made in a similar stainless steel finish.
