Our Assessment: Made to commemorate the United States Marine Corps, this Auto-Ordnance M1911A1 is decorated with gold trim, smooth walnut grips with Eagle, Globe and Anchor medallions, the USMC birthday, 10 November 1775 and their motto “Semper Fidelis”. With their colors, scarlet and gold, on the presentation case and lanyard, this is a wonderful tribute to our Marines and would make a wonderful display in any Devil Dog’s collection.
