Everything you could possibly want in an optic solution. The IOS is adaptable to your needs and allows for a low-profile red dot mount with the versatility to switch rear sights in a matter of seconds. With the dovetail cut in the slide, each plate can be removed and still return to zero. This allows you to switch your rear sight quickly and easily without sacrificing aesthetic or function. The cocking serrations have been cut into the plate and hand blended so perfectly, that most people would never notice the cut. This is available on new builds as an upgrade, and is also available to be cut on most existing 1911s, no matter the brand.

Our new 1-piece Mainspring Housing / Magwell is the strongest most robust part of its kind anywhere. It sets the standard for what this part should be. It starts out life as a solid 2 ¼” block of steel. It’s then fully machined and checkered to exacting tolerances. The bottom of the mag well is rounded to reduce the print thru clothing when wearing your firearm concealed. The checkering is 25 lpi to provide a more positive grip. We have never had anyone say that it was too sharp since it contacts only the back portion of your grip. You can see a visual of what it looks like after installation by visiting our Falcon page on this site. A version is also available with a lanyard loop machined in. No lanyard pin to break. If you want a mag well on your 1911 this is one part that is worth the investment. Why not use the best to start with? Gunsmith fit may be required for proper fitting.
