The XP PRO PORTED Thumb Ledge Edition – Black – Ambi Thumbrest is the most competition-oriented XP variant to date. This model was created after some customers requested a commander/carry XP with built-in thumb ledge/ thumb rest gas pedals to maximize recoil management and achieve the flattest shooting setup possible.
This Custom Shop build includes the XP PRO Prickle V1 Aluminum Grip and MSH with ambidextrous thumbledge/ gas pedals integrated into the frame—giving shooters superior leverage, faster transitions, and exceptional sight stability under rapid fire.
Tenifer® QPQ Black Finish – Hardened From Within
The XP PRO Black features a Tenifer® QPQ finish applied to the all-steel frame and slide. This advanced salt bath ferritic nitrocarburizing process penetrates the steel at a molecular level, increasing hardness and corrosion resistance far beyond traditional coatings.
Unlike paint or Cerakote, Tenifer becomes part of the metal itself.
