Shipping Insurance Policy
WE HIGHLY ENCOURGE OUR “BUYERS” TO ADD SHIPPING INSURNACE TO ALL ORDERS
Our Shipping Insurance Policy is subject to the following below and to our Terms of Service:
The term “Buyer” refers to the customer(s) placing the order and/or customer(s) paying for subject order from this website.
The term “Shipper” refers to SK Guns and its subsidiaries shipping “any” packages to one or more destinations designated by the “Buyer”.
The term “Reimbursement” refers to the means of how the “Shipper” elects to reimburse a client for their insured purchase.
The term “Refund” refers to SK Guns and its subsidiaries compensating a “Buyer” by means of “Reimbursement”.
- Shipping insurance is a service that protects the “Buyer” against lost, stolen, or damaged packages. If an insured package does not reach its destination, or if it is damaged when it’s delivered, then the “Shipper” will do one of the following,
A. “Refund” the “Buyer” for the declared value invoiced at checkout (less shipping fees, insurance fees and credit card fees) for any “Lost” or “Stolen” products by one of the below means below;
I. The “Buyer” agrees to allow the “Shipper” up to 30 business days to conduct an investigation, this is due to the time needed for the “Shipper” to investigate with the courier and report the incident to the ATF before receiving a “Refund” of the total insurance value (less shipping fees, insurance fees and credit card fees).
II. The “Buyer” agrees to allow the “Shipper” to “Refund” the “Lost” or Stolen” product(s) with a similar product. For limited edition productions the “Buyer” agrees that “Shipper” can select any available Special Edition/Serial Number from the same production as a means of the “Refund” (less shipping fees, insurance fees and credit card fees).
III. “Buyer” agrees to allow the “Shipper” up to 30 business days from the date the package has been reported “Lost or Stolen” for a decision to be made by the “Shipper” for any “Refund” (less shipping fees, insurance fees and credit card fees).
B. Attempt to repair any damaged product(s) in the package.
I. The “Buyer” and/or his representative (receiving FFL) MUST first take detailed photos of the damaged package before signing for the package from the courier who is attempting to make the delivery.
II. The “Buyer” and/or his representative (receiving FFL) MUST next inspect that all items have been received, take photos of any damaged items before signing for acceptance of the package and product(s) attempting to be delivered.
- It is understood by the “Buyer” that Shipping Insurance is billed at $1.50 per $100.00 of the merchandise being purchased through the “Shipper”.
- This Shipping Insurance Policy can be updated anytime without notice.
