If you are looking for the ultimate in presentation handguns, you might want to take a look at the MANA. Developed by SK Customs, the newest iteration of the MANA 1911 is a stainless design that spares no expense.

Inspired by Polynesian warriors, the company takes a Colt Classic 1911 Series 70 pistol and gives it such a treatment that you may not see anything that tops its style. Chambered for the .38 Super cartridge, the Government-sized pistol has a polished stainless steel slide and frame with 24 karat gold details, a polished silver National Match barrel and patterns etched across the slide. The white ivory grip panels are engraved with a design that is also inspired by the Polynesian Ethos. Proving that no expense was spared, the staked front sight is diamond-studded.

SK Customs named the gun MANA based on the concept of spiritual power or energy from the Polynesian worldview. According to the SK Customs interpretation of Polynesian spirituality, mana imparts influence and authority. Further, objects can possess mana and those that possess the object are afforded greater respect.

As if the gun by itself wasn’t enough, SK Customs includes a specially designed knife with each pistol. Manufactured by Deejo, a respected French blade maker, the folding knife includes Polynesian-inspired etchings on its own stainless steel. The knife also uses a composite turtle shell handle.

The company is accepting pre-orders on these guns now. SK Customs is limiting production to only 200 pistols. If you have an interest in these 1911s, ordering early seems to be the correct move. Each gun has a unique number, from 001 – 200, etched on the right side of the slide and filled in 24 karat gold.

The pre-order pricing starts at $3,200. For additional information on this limited edition 1911, visit skarmsva.com.
