Manufactured by FN Belgium for Browning in 1982, one of only 500 produced.
This high-grade shotgun features 28″ Special Steel barrel with ventilated rib and white bead mid and front sights.
Chambered for 2-3/4″ shells with Full and Modified choke and ejectors.
Beautiful coin finished box lock action double signed by master engraver, M. Calabrese on both sides.
97% engraved coverage in a deep relief floral scroll pattern that extends along the top and bottom tangs as well as the trigger guard.
Left side features two gold inlaid ducks in flight, and right-side features two gold inlaid landing ducks, both in a gold bordered oval.
Bottom features two gold inlaid ducks in flight with a banner between in gold letter “BLACK DUCK / 288 OF 500 / ANAS RUBRIPES”.
Bottom of the trigger guard features a gold inlaid duck head.
Gold washed trigger and single select safety.
Fitted with a stunning long tang, round knob feather crotch walnut stock. Multi-point checkering on the grip.
Matching skeet style forearm with engraved hardware.
Capped with a skip-line checkering butt plate.
This matched serial number set comes in a original Browning box with Superposed paperwork.
LOP: 14-1/8″
CONDITION: Barrel retains 98% finish with light handling wear.
Receiver shows light handling wear with crisp engraving.
Stock and forearm show only faint handling wear. Excellent bore.
